📖 About the university
Hunan University of Medicine is a full-time public medical undergraduate institution located in Huaihua in western Hunan Province. Its history dates back to 1912, when the pioneering medical educator Yan Fuqing founded the Changsha Red Cross Nursing Training Institute. After decades as Huaihua Medical College, it was upgraded and renamed Hunan University of Medicine in 2014. The university runs an International Education College that admits international students, with clinical medicine and nursing as its core disciplines.
