🚇 Getting to the city centre
The airport is in Zhijiang, about 35 km from downtown Huaihua. No metro; reach the centre by airport shuttle bus or taxi (about 40-50 min).
Historic regional airport (site of the 1945 Japanese surrender) with domestic flights. No international facilities.
🔄 Getting from the airport to the train stations
To Huaihua South Railway Station (high-speed hub): the airport lies about 45 km east in Huaihua city. An airport shuttle bus links it to the downtown/station area for around ¥20-25, taking 60-80 minutes with stops, and is the cheapest option. The fastest is a taxi, roughly ¥120-135 and about 55 minutes. There is no free option.
