📖 About the university

Yuanpei College is an independent college in Shaoxing, established in 2000 and run by Shaoxing University. It is named after the reformist educator Cai Yuanpei, and its emblem reflects the 1909 heritage of the parent university, which grew from an early normal school in the Shaoxing area. The college is one of Zhejiang Province's pilot institutions for applied-oriented undergraduate education, offering programs in engineering, economics, management, the arts, foreign languages and health sciences. It is located in the city of Shaoxing and serves several thousand full-time undergraduate students.
