📖 About the university

Guilin University of Technology, set amid the famous karst landscape of Guilin, is a public university with a national reputation in geology, mineral resources and environmental engineering, founded in 1956. Rooted in the geological-survey system, it is strong in earth sciences, environmental science, materials and civil engineering, and it studies the karst hydrology and mineral wealth of Guangxi. The university also has a well-known tourism-management program, fitting for one of China's premier scenic cities.
