Wuhan Donghu University is a private undergraduate university in the Jiangxia district of Wuhan, Hubei province. Founded in 2000 as Donghu Branch of Wuhan University, it became an independent private university in 2011. It offers programs in computer science, electronic information, bioengineering, economics and management, and was one of the earliest independent colleges established in China.
