Qingdao City University is a private undergraduate university in Qingdao, Shandong Province. It was founded in 2004 as Qindao College of Qingdao University of Technology, an independent college, and it was converted into an independent private university under its current name in 2021. Reflecting the strengths of its former parent university, it is especially known for civil engineering, architecture and engineering-management programs, along with mechanical, information, management and art disciplines. It provides applied undergraduate education and enrolls a large body of full-time students.
