Heilongjiang Bayi Agricultural University is a public university in Daqing, Heilongjiang province, founded in 1958 by decommissioned army units to develop the great reclamation farms of the northeast. It specializes in agronomy, agricultural engineering, animal science and food science, closely tied to the large-scale mechanized agriculture of the Sanjiang Plain.
