Yancheng Institute of Technology, founded in 1958, is an application-oriented engineering university in the coastal city of Yancheng in northern Jiangsu. Its strengths lie in materials, mechanical and automotive engineering, chemical engineering and environmental technology, closely tied to Yancheng's automobile and new-energy industries.
