📖 About the university
Qinghai Institute of Health Sciences (青海卫生职业技术学院) is a public full-time higher vocational college for health professions in Xining, Qinghai Province, under the Qinghai Provincial Health Commission, teaching nursing, clinical medicine, preventive medicine, pharmacy and medical technology. Founded in 1948 as the Qinghai Provincial Senior Nursing Vocational School, it passed through several health-school names and was upgraded to its current status in 2003; it became a provincial key higher vocational school in 2016. As of June 2026 it has 7 teaching units, 24 majors and nearly 8,500 students.
