The Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, with origins dating back to 1906, is one of the oldest art schools in China and one of the country's major independent fine-art academies. It offers Chinese painting, oil painting, sculpture, design, printmaking and modern media, blending a long classical tradition with contemporary practice.
