📖 About the university

Hangzhou Medical College is a public undergraduate medical institution directly affiliated with the Zhejiang Provincial Health Commission. Its predecessor was the Zhejiang Provincial Women's Obstetrics and Midwifery School founded in 1925, and it was upgraded to an undergraduate college in 2016. In 2019 the Zhejiang Academy of Medical Sciences merged into the college, strengthening its research capacity. The college focuses on clinical medicine, pharmacy, and medical laboratory science.
