Hubei University of Education is a provincial public university in Wuhan, the capital of Hubei Province, with origins in the Hubei Provincial College of Education founded in 1931. It shifted from adult education to regular higher education and adopted its current English name in 2007. Located in the East Lake High-Tech Zone, it operates fifteen schools offering fifty-five undergraduate programs.
