📖 About the university

Zhengzhou University of Industrial Technology is a private full-time undergraduate university in Xinzheng, part of Zhengzhou, Henan Province. Founded in 1997, it was upgraded to undergraduate status in 2008, received bachelor's degree-granting authority in 2012, and adopted its current name in 2014. It is located within the Zhengzhou Airport Economy Comprehensive Experimental Zone and is sponsored by the Zhongyuan Huaxin enterprise group. The university has sixteen colleges and departments offering around forty-eight undergraduate majors across engineering, medicine, management, arts and other fields. Its strengths include mechanical engineering, nursing, civil engineering and data science, and it runs a joint data science and big-data programme with the Vienna University of Technology in Austria. With two campuses, it emphasises applied technology education serving the manufacturing and healthcare sectors of central Henan.
