Chengdu Gingko College of Hospitality Management is a private undergraduate university in Chengdu, the capital of Sichuan Province and a laid-back city famous for pandas, teahouses and cuisine, with a second campus in Nanxi, Yibin. It grew from the Gingko International Hotel Management College founded in 2002, became a bachelor-level independent college in 2004, and in 2020 was approved by the Ministry of Education to convert into a standalone private undergraduate university under its present name. The university is organised into nine schools and offers around thirty-three undergraduate programmes across six disciplinary areas, but is defined by its focus on hospitality and tourism. Its hotel management programme is a national first-class undergraduate programme, while tourism management and leisure sport are provincial first-class programmes. Its core strengths lie in hotel management, tourism management, leisure sport and culinary arts.
