Gansu University of Political Science and Law is a public university in Lanzhou, Gansu, and the only dedicated undergraduate institution of political science and law in the province. Founded in 1956, it is one of the earliest provincial political-and-law colleges in China and was renamed a university in 2019 with the approval of the Ministry of Education. It is especially known for law, forensic science, investigation, and public-security programs. Operating across several campuses in Lanzhou, it trains legal and judicial professionals for northwestern China.
