The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) is a publicly funded research university established in 2022 in the Nansha district of Guangzhou. It was jointly founded by HKUST and Guangzhou University and operates a complementary campus to HKUST in Hong Kong. The university pioneers an interdisciplinary academic structure organised around Hubs and Thrusts rather than traditional departments, and English is its language of instruction.
