📖 About the university

Huaide College of Changzhou University is a private undergraduate independent college located in Jingjiang, a Yangtze-side city administered by Taizhou in Jiangsu Province. It was founded in 2002 as a publicly run private secondary college, was approved by the Ministry of Education as an independent college in 2005, and in 2014 relocated to Jingjiang, where it is run jointly by Changzhou University and a local investment company. The college draws on the disciplinary strengths of its parent university, which grew from petrochemical and engineering roots, and is organised into schools including petrochemical and materials engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, economics and management, information engineering, humanities and foreign languages. As an application-oriented college in a smaller Jiangsu city, it emphasises engineering and business education closely tied to the industrial economy of the Yangtze Delta. Its core strengths lie in chemical engineering, mechanical and electrical engineering, economics and management, and information engineering. It suits students seeking an affordable, engineering-oriented undergraduate education backed by an established public university.
