📖 About the university

Changchun Institute of Technology is a public full-time undergraduate university affiliated with the Jilin Provincial Government and located in Changchun, the capital of Jilin Province. Founded in 1951, it is an engineering-focused institution with strong roots in the construction, water conservancy, electric power and geological industries, complemented by programs in management, science, the arts and humanities. The university operates two campuses in Changchun and comprises around twenty schools offering more than fifty undergraduate programs, and it is authorized to grant both bachelor's and master's degrees. Its most characteristic strengths lie in civil engineering, water conservancy engineering, electrical engineering and automation, and geological prospecting and surveying, reflecting its long service to China's basic-industry sectors.
