📖 About the university
Sichuan International Studies University (SISU), founded in 1950, is the leading foreign-languages university of southwest China. Growing out of a Russian-language training school linked to the Second Field Army, it now teaches a broad range of world languages together with translation, international relations, journalism and business. It is one of only a handful of dedicated foreign-studies universities in China and the main producer of linguists and interpreters for the Chongqing-Sichuan region.
