A giant station connecting north–south and east–west lines. Zhengzhou is a major trade and logistics hub with big wholesale markets; halal restaurants available in the city.

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport

Zhengzhou Xinzheng International Airport (CGO) has a dedicated fast rail link from Zhengzhou East Railway Station: the Zhengzhou-Xinzheng Airport intercity railway runs direct in about 19 minutes for ¥30-40, with roughly 4 trains per hour. This is by far the quickest option. A taxi covers the roughly 35 km in 30-40 minutes for ¥100-130. There is no free service, but the intercity express train is the clear best choice for connecting flights.
