Station is west of the city; city bus and taxi to central Zhangye. Gateway to the Danxia colourful landform.

Traveller notes

Zhangye's main high-speed station (opened 2014) on the Lanzhou–Ürümqi HSR. Named West to distinguish it from the older Zhangye Station.

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport

Zhangye Ganzhou Airport (YZY), about 25 km: there is no direct link, so the budget route takes the airport shuttle bus to the Zhangye Electric Power Building, then a short walk and city bus New Line 1 to the West Railway Station, roughly 1 hour 30 minutes for about 21 yuan. A taxi is the simplest choice at about 45 minutes for around 60 yuan. There is no free transfer.
