There is no metro in Xiangtan. The station is north of the city and is linked to the centre by buses and taxis in about 20 minutes.

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport
Changsha Huanghua International Airport is about 50 km from the station. The easiest route is an HSR train to Changsha and then the airport maglev line, or a long taxi ride. There is no metro in the city.
