The largest HSR station in Northwest China. Served by Metro Line 2 (Beikezhan station, underground) to the Bell Tower and city centre, Line 4, plus the airport Line 14 running direct to Xianyang Airport. Ample taxis and buses.

Traveller notes

Massive hub with North and South concourses. Keep your ticket for the exit gate. Halal food is easy in Xi'an (famous Muslim Quarter near the Bell Tower). Take Line 2 from the city centre.

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport

Your destination is Xi'an Xianyang International Airport (XIY). There is an excellent fast and economical option: Metro Line 14 runs directly from Xi'an North Station to the airport in about 40 minutes for only ¥7, with no transfer. International flights use Terminal T5, and domestic flights the West terminal (T1/T2/T3). The metro operates from 6:00 until 23:30. Line 14 is by far the optimal choice.
