Tongjiang has no metro. Local buses and taxis connect the station to town, which also serves as a base for Heilongjiang River boat trips toward the Russian border.

Traveller notes
Built in 2003, the station opened for passenger service on 14 July 2016. It is linked via the Sino-Russian Tongjiang rail bridge to Nizhneleninskoye in Russia, making it part of a cross-border freight (and future passenger) corridor, in addition to serving as a base for Heilongjiang River tourism.
