A smaller station in the north-west that relieves the main station. Directly served by metro lines 11 and 15. Taxis available.

Compact but convenient for reaching Suzhou, Wuxi and Nanjing on intercity trains. Far less crowded than the big hubs.
🔄 Getting from the station to the airport
To Shanghai Hongqiao International Airport (SHA): take Metro Line 11 to Jiangsu Road and change to Line 2 westbound for Hongqiao Airport T2, or Line 15 to Guilin Road and change to Line 10; about 50-60 minutes and ¥5-6, the cheapest option. A taxi takes 30-40 minutes and costs about ¥70.
To Shanghai Pudong International Airport (PVG): stay on Metro Line 2 eastbound all the way, about 100 minutes and ¥9-10. The fast option is to ride to Hongqiao and change to the new Airport Link Line, reaching Pudong in under 40 minutes for ¥15-20. A taxi takes 60-80 minutes and costs about ¥200.
