No metro. HSR opened June 2025, cutting the trip from central Chongqing to about one hour. The station is close to town; use bus or taxi.

Gateway to the Wuling mountain area in southeastern Chongqing. Station rebuilt to receive HSR; basic services available.

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport

Qianjiang Wulingshan Airport (JIQ), about 10 km: the cheapest way is city bus 203 from Qianjiang Railway Station to Zhengyang National Hospital, then a transfer to city bus 305 that stops at Wulingshan Airport, taking about 50 minutes for just 3 yuan in total. A taxi is far quicker at about 35 minutes and costs around 30 yuan. There is no free transfer, but the bus fare is very low.
