The original station was built in 1995 and rebuilt on the same site in 2015, reopening on 11 December 2015 under the Baise depot of China Railway Nanning Group. It serves roughly 98 trains a day at this Nankun railway hub, making it a fairly busy stop for Pingguo, a city known for its aluminum industry.
