🚇 To & from the city centre
Located well outside the Dongsheng and Kangbashi urban cores of Ordos; no metro, reach the city by long-distance shuttle bus or taxi.
Opened 2016, terminus of the Hohhot–Jungar–Ordos railway and a point on the Baotou–Xi'an line. Ordos is a coal- and gas-rich city; plan carefully as the station is far from town.
🔄 Getting from the station to the airport
Ordos Ejin Horo International Airport (DSN) lies near Ordos Railway Station within the Ejin Horo area. An express bus links the railway station and the airport directly, with departures timed to train arrivals, taking about 30 minutes for a low fare (around 10-20 yuan). A separate city-to-airport coach (via Hongyuan Yipin Hotel) charges up to 30 yuan; a taxi is faster but more expensive.
