No metro. Station about 5 km from central Nanchong. Use bus or taxi. Being expanded for the Chengdu–Dazhou–Wanzhou HSR.

Main station for Nanchong (a large city in northeastern Sichuan). Currently operating on the Lanzhou–Chongqing railway; being upgraded into an HSR hub.

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport

Nanchong Gaoping Airport (NAO), about 20 km: the budget route uses city bus line 2 from Nanchong North Railway Station to Hepingqiao, then a change to city bus line 10 that reaches the airport, taking about 1 hour 15 minutes for only 4 yuan in total. A taxi is much faster at about 45 minutes and costs around 70 yuan. There is no free transfer.
