Traveller notes
Opened on 16 December 2022 on the Mimeng high-speed railway, restoring rail passenger service to Kaiyuan after long-distance trains stopped calling at the old Kaiyuan Station on the Kunhe line in 2003. The old narrow-gauge station still runs only a tourist sightseeing train, with no formal passenger service.
