The station is south-east of Jishou city, about 7.5 km from the Qianzhou new district. No metro; dedicated city bus routes were adjusted/opened for the station, and taxis and Didi are available.

Traveller notes

Opened with the Zhangjiajie–Jishou–Huaihua HSR on 6 December 2021 (operating speeds up to 300 km/h). Jishou is the gateway to western Hunan: Furong Ancient Town, Fenghuang (which has its own station on the same line) and, to the north, the Zhangjiajie parks.
