There is no metro in Jincheng. The station is east of the city and is linked to the centre by buses and taxis in about 20 minutes.

The high-speed station on the Taiyuan–Jiaozuo line opened in 2020, linking southern Shanxi with Zhengzhou in Henan.

Jincheng has no airport. The nearest is Changzhi Wangcun Airport about 90 km away; the easiest route is an HSR train to Changzhi and then a taxi, or reaching Zhengzhou International Airport by high-speed train. There is no metro in the city.
