Hongcun village has no station of its own or metro. From the tourist bus center at Huangshan North Railway Station, a direct shuttle bus to Hongcun runs roughly hourly (about ¥30, ~1.5 hours), from 9:35 until the last departure at 18:00.

Traveller notes

The UNESCO-listed heritage village of Hongcun has no rail station of its own. Huangshan North high-speed station, opened 28 June 2015, is the official rail gateway to Hongcun and the neighboring Xidi village, reached onward by tourist shuttle bus.
