Gejiu has no metro. The station is about 20 km from Gejiu's administrative centre; a taxi or bus is needed to reach downtown.

Traveller notes

Formerly known as Jijie Station and opened for freight in 2013, it was renamed Gejiu Station on 21 April 2020, with passenger service starting on 5 February 2021. It sits on the Yuhe railway and is managed by the Kaiyuan railway division.
