Station is east of new Dali (Xiaguan); city bus and taxi to Dali Old Town (~15 km north).

Traveller notes

Dali's main station (conventional and high-speed trains). Most travellers head to the Old Town and Erhai Lake. Halal food available (Yunnan Hui community).

🔄 Getting from the station to the airport

Dali Fengyi Airport (DLU), about 12-15 km: the airport is close, and the simplest choice is a taxi from outside Dali Railway Station, reaching the terminal in about 20 minutes for around 50 yuan. Public transport is awkward, requiring bus 5 then bus 7 toward Huaying and a short taxi at the end. An airport shuttle bus also runs on the airport side for about 25 yuan. There is no free transfer, so the taxi is the recommended route.
