左拉清真寺
📍 Lintan · Lintan County 🏛️ Guangxu era (Qing dynasty), c. 1880

📜 About & history

Zuola Mosque is in Zuola Village, Chengguan Town, Lintan County, Gansu, 2 km north of the old county town. It was founded in the Qing Guangxu era (around 1880), when four Hui families — Zhang, Su, Wang and Min — built a prayer hall; it later followed the Beizhuang Gongbei. Destroyed in fighting in 1914 and rebuilt the next year, it was destroyed again in 1929, restored with help from local gentry in 1941, pulled down in 1965 and restored in 1985. It covers 1.5 mu, with a brick-and-timber prayer hall and imam's quarters. "Zuola" means "pasture" in Tibetan.
