Zhannan Mosque, in the Hui village of Zhannan in Hanmiao Town, Shanghe County, was founded in the Ming Wanli era. Rebuilt in 1924, it was damaged in fighting in 1942 and destroyed by Japanese and puppet troops in 1943, after which villagers rebuilt it. The present Arab-style prayer hall dates from 2001; with men's and women's halls, ablution rooms and a lecture hall it covers more than 640 square metres, and it keeps an early handwritten Qur'an. In March 2024 the Jinan Islamic Association held a Ramadan event here.
