📜 About & history
Zhangshi Mosque, on South Street in Zhangshi Town, Weishi County, was founded in the Qing Kangxi era (1662-1722) and rebuilt in 1873 with a classical prayer hall and more than 40 rooms. It was flooded in 1938 when the Yellow River dykes were breached at Huayuankou; parts were rebuilt in 1950, a gate was built in 1988, and in 1991 the prayer hall was rebuilt and enlarged in Arab style to 376 square metres, giving 820 square metres of buildings in all.
