📜 About & history
The mosque is traditionally said to have been founded in 1862 (the first year of the Qing Tongzhi era) and was originally a palace-style complex with numerous pavilions and halls. It was rebuilt after 1979 and covers more than 2,600 square metres. Its main hall accommodates about a thousand worshippers, with an arched main entrance of five doors and seven columns.
