Yinji New Mosque

临夏县尹集清真新寺
📍 Linxia · Linxia County 🏛️ c. 1912

📜 About & history

Yinji New Mosque in Yinji Village, Linxia County, was founded around 1912, early in the Republic, when followers of the Yihewani school split from the old Yinji mosque. Destroyed in 1967, it was rebuilt in 1979 on a 3-mu site. Its five-bay prayer hall has a single-eave hip-and-gable roof, and a five-storey hexagonal minaret 17 metres high with an Arab-style dome stands in the east of the courtyard. It serves about 145 Hui households.
