📜 About & history
Yinchuan Middle Mosque stands on Zhongsi Lane off Jiefang West Street in the city centre. Built in 1931 and rebuilt in 1938, its five-bay prayer hall of 289 square metres is in classical Chinese style with green-and-white painted brackets. It stayed open in 1958 and was the only mosque in Yinchuan to survive the Cultural Revolution intact. Last renovated in 2000, it is next to the Ningxia Islamic Association.
