Xinling East Street Mosque stands in a busy commercial area of Lingbao and was built in November 1989. It serves over 200 Muslim households, mostly migrants from Xuchang, Xingyang, Shangqiu, Zhoukou and elsewhere. On a site of about 6 fen, it has a four-bay prayer hall in combined Chinese and Arab style holding over 200 worshippers, plus five shopfronts whose rent supports the mosque.
