📜 About & history

Xinhua ('New Hua') Mosque is the newer counterpart to the historic Laohua (Old Hua) Grand Mosque and is associated with the same Huasi Menhuan Sufi tradition of Linxia. It stands in the western part of the old city off Xinxi Road, near Xinxi Garden. Like the other Huasi-lineage mosques it presents an Arab-influenced form alongside local Chinese-Islamic detailing. It serves the Muslim community of the surrounding Bafang district.
