📜 About & history
Xiaomatou Mosque, in Jinping Town, Qiubei County, was founded in 1943 on about 1 mu. Its palace-style brick-and-timber prayer hall covers 160 square metres, with 380 square metres of buildings in all. Hui families settled in Xiaomatou in 1845; today the congregation numbers 56 households (254 people), all Hui, with three imams and five students, and the mosque keeps 30 copies of the Qur'an.
