📜 About & history
Also called the Northern Great Mosque, it was rebuilt in 1742 by imam Li Zhonghe for the Muslim merchants who settled along the Grand Canal at Taierzhuang. During the 1938 Battle of Taierzhuang it served as a command post for the 31st Division's 186th Regiment and saw seven days and nights of fierce fighting; its bullet-scarred walls are preserved as a patriotic-education site.

Tourist buses and taxis serve Taierzhuang Ancient Town; the mosque is inside the scenic area.
From Zaozhuang city centre take a bus or taxi to Taierzhuang Ancient Town (about 60 km southeast); high-speed rail to Zaozhuang Station then bus K1.
Historic war-memorial mosque inside a major tourist old town; halal restaurants nearby. Chinese spoken.
