Shunde District Mosque is located in Lecong Town, known for its furniture industry and steel trade, which has attracted Muslim workers from across China. The mosque was established to meet the spiritual needs of Muslim workers employed in surrounding factories and furniture businesses. It serves as a community hub for Muslims originating from Gansu, Shaanxi, and other regions with significant Muslim populations.
