📜 About & history
Also called the Xizheng Street Mosque, it was founded in 1678 (17th year of the Qing Kangxi era) and, after being destroyed, rebuilt in 1892. In 2015 local Hui residents paid to repair the prayer hall and side rooms, keeping their original appearance. In 2018 the Shiping County government listed it among the county's first historic buildings. The three-bay prayer hall is a timber post-and-beam structure with a single-eave flush-gable roof.
