📜 About & history

The Ningling Dongguan Mosque is traditionally traced to the Yuan dynasty and was expanded in 1581 during the Wanli era of the Ming. It is one of the largest and best-preserved historic Hui buildings in the Shangqiu area, of high historical and artistic value, and serves the Hui community of Ningling County.

Open for the five daily prayers, with the main Friday Jumu'ah gathering around midday; ablution (wudu) facilities are on site. Modest dress is requested.
