📜 About & history
Ningbo's only surviving historic mosque traces its origin to the Northern Song Xianping era (998–1003), when Persian sea-traders established a place of worship in this Maritime Silk Road port. After several destructions and rebuildings it was relocated to its current site west of Moon Lake in 1699. It is the only ancient mosque in eastern Zhejiang and today houses the Ningbo Islamic Association. In 2011 it was listed as a provincial-level protected cultural relic.

- Line 1 Ximenkou (Tianyige·Yuehu) （西门口（天一阁·月湖景区））
Buses serving the Tianyige·Yuehu Scenic Area stop beside Moon Lake (e.g. routes 9, 14, 26); walk into the lanes on the west side of the lake.
About 2–3 km / 10–15 min by taxi from Ningbo Railway Station.
About 5–10 min from Tianyi Square city centre; the mosque sits within the central Moon Lake scenic area.
