📜 About & history
Moling Town Mosque at the old-town crossroads is one of the best-known mosques of eastern Henan, nicknamed "Little Mecca". Founded in 1522 (1st year of the Ming Jiajing era), it gained a west mosque in the Qing Jiaqing era and was rebuilt in 1920. In 1996-1998 Imam Ma Xiaoxin raised over one million yuan to rebuild it; the 3,616-square-metre complex has men's and women's halls, lecture halls and a moon-watching tower.
